Skinless Walnuts

Our Skinless Walnuts are processed here in California through a natural skin removal process. The skin of the walnut contains tannin (like an astrigent) which causes the bitter or unpleasant taste. We have removed the bitter skin from the walnuts so that the full flavor of the walnuts can be enjoyed.
